Our Staff

James Grove

Founder & Lead Pastor

Pastor Jim is our founder & lead pastor at ReaLife Assembly. In 2008, he and his wife Debbie followed God’s call to come to Erie and plant the church. His main responsibilities are the weekend services, vision casting, and staff oversight. Pastor Jim’s passions are communicating God’s word for daily living and promoting the family feel that exists at ReaLife! In the fall of 2022, Pastor Jim was asked to serve as the Chaplain of the Erie Police Department, a force of over 200 officers. If you don’t see him at the church or doing a ride-along with the EPD, you might see him out on the road as he enjoys time as an avid cyclist. Pastor Jim and Debbie have been married for 36 years and have two adult children.
